These are some of the common reasons people have approached me for therapy. I understand people are complex and come with their own individual issues and concerns.
I aim to collaboratively tailor my approach to work at a pace that suit your needs.
I am trained in providing psychodynamic counselling and psychotherapy. I have also undertaken several trainings post qualification and regularly attend continuing professional development the learnings from which I can bring to my practice. Due to this I can draw on a range of models of therapy including: Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Mentalization Based Therapy. This means I can flexibly tailor my approach to enable you to work at a therapeutic pace that feels comfortable for you and in a way that aims to meet your specific needs.
I am interested to find out about your whole life journey. I will look at uncovering any underlying issues or factors that may link into or inform your current problems, as well as exploring your daily struggles in your life and relationships.
