About

I have over 10 years clinical experience as a Psychodynamic Counsellor and Psychotherapist. I have undertaken a rigorous and extensive five year under grad and post grad training in London, UK leading to qualification with a Master of Science in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy. Psychodynamic therapy can be helpful in linking current troubling thoughts, feelings, beliefs or behaviours to their emotional origin or underlying cause.

The aim of psychodynamic therapy is to enable you to develop your self-awareness and insight in order to help reduce common symptoms of anxiety and depression and help bring more flexibility and choice into how you manage your life and relationships. I have experience in providing brief, medium term counselling or open-ended therapy.

I have also undertaken several trainings post qualification and regularly attend continuing professional development the learnings from which I can bring to my practice. Due to this I can draw on a range of models of therapy including: Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment Theory, Person Centred Counselling, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Mentalization Based Therapy. This means I can flexibly tailor my approach to enable you to work at a therapeutic pace that feels comfortable for you and in a way that aims to meet your specific needs.
